WELCOME TO THE IMPERIAL BALLROOM

The Imperial Ballroom at Joondalup offers friendly tuition to dancers of all ages and at all stages, in an attractive, air-conditioned studio. There is a choice of class, group or private tuition. The Imperial Ballroom also hosts social dances featuring Ballroom, Latin American and New Vogue styles as well as Street Latin. Parking is available at the door.

The Principals

The Principals, Graeme and Frances Rieusset, have more than two decades of experience as professional ballroom dancers - teaching, demonstrating and competing within Australia and overseas.

A 20-year career as competitive dancers took them to some 35 countries. Their achievements include: Lion City International Amateur Champions, winners of the ABC's "That's Dancin" programme, Asian Pacific Professional Champions, Australian Professional Rising Star Champions and many State titles.

The opening of The Imperial Ballroom in 1994 offered their expertise to the northern suburbs. Since then Graeme and Frances have developed a ballroom with a lively social scene for all age groups. A range of specially tailored programmes caters for five-year-olds through to seniors.

Graeme and Frances have been rsponsible for training the more serious dancers to the level of State and National Champions.

They also have Bachelor of Education degrees, with teaching experience in secondary schools.
